Chemical composition of the plant

Milk thistle contains most of the nutrients in the seeds. Almost 30% is medicinal vegetable oil, the rest includes: proteins; lignans, flavonoids, alkaloids; disaccharides, monosaccharides; resins, enzymes, saponins; micro- and macronutrients — magnesium, calcium, boron, iron, manganese, vanadium, zinc, potassium, chromium, copper; vitamins E, K, D, group B; flavolignans — silymarin and silybin. Important! The unique composition of the milk thistle fruit makes it possible to use the product as an effective hepatoprotector — it protects the membranes of the liver cells from alcohol intoxication, the effects of free radicals, toxic substances and poisons.
